...and it performed brilliantly! I'm not the most delicate of players, but it stayed in tune perfectly, and the sound was great - full but still bright with plenty of depth. So I'm well happy! Best of it is a couple of people in the crowd commented on how cool it sounded and looked. And that they'd never seen a guitar like it before!
I get to put it through it's paces again tonight, so I'm really looking forward to that!
Congrats! So, nobody said, "Nice Les Paul"...? I had that happen to me when I was using my old Jet Firebird live. lol
No, although I'll probably get that tonight now you've said that! It's gonna be a really hot sweaty one, more than likely fuelled by free beer and stuff, so that'll really put it through it's paces!

Yep, it's a long long way! But not as far as Glasgow where we were last night! We tour twice, three times a year, rather than doing the occassional gig. All good fun!

Johnny, I'm running through a Fender Supersonic and a couple of stompboxes - a Boss OD3 and a Tubescreamer.
Very cool. I've also found that gigging is MUCH more satisfying with a Gretsch. Not only they sound great, but you do get noticed.

Well, I've had a few comments on how great it looks and sounds. Even had people saying 'thanks' for playing a Gretsch, and now they're convinced a 6120 is for them instead of a 335! Nobody's said 'nice Les Paul' yet, though!
One thing I did notice was just how damn light it is! My other main axe is a lightweight swamp ash Strat, but the PJ is way lighter than even that. And with those pickups, it really does punch above its weight. (There's one song we play where people have said that the overall sound the band gets just sucks the air out of the room!)
I don't think I'd be without my PJ now, I tell ya! 
What songs were in the setlist, BTW?
It's a bunch of originals plus some Skynyrd tracks, Ratrod - not everyone's cup of tea, I know!
