Blue Synchromatic project

  1. I've had this Junior Jet body (which someone had refinished in reddish-purple) for several years, but recently found a NOS Synchromatic Blue Sparkle neck to go along with it. So I'm repainting the body and neck in blue sparkle, adding Dream 90s and a stop tail. Here's the beginning.

  2. My Ibby has a 'string through' with a Gibraltar III bridge. That setup would look sweet on that body instead of just a stop bridge. :)

  3. That is a candidate for a relic job or a very wild paint job. Of course I am more of a single color guy. I think blue sparkle should be fun.

  4. how do you plan on doing the sparkle?

metal flake or are you going to glue on blue glitter. ive heard glitter works good but you have to do a lot of leveling out with clear coats.

    cool project

  5. sounds like a cool project, Jim. will I see it at "My Music" for the electrical work ?

Actually there's a spray paint that's "Blue Sparkle."

You will. Ted's the master. I told him this one will be easier than than the Nashville Corvette.
