If you own a Bamboo Yellow/Copper Mist of any make or model (120th Anni, CC, Rally, Streamliner, etc.), show it off. Here is my beauty . . .

Really dig those Annies
The wallpaper on the Gretsch site is on my computer here at home, and at work. I'll have to say, I would be hard pressed not to give up my 6120GA for one of those! I like them a lot!
That's really more of a Smoke Green, Mac.
I'm thinking it looks like Caddy green...
It's no secret that my #1 dream guitar is a 120th Bamboo Annie. I will own one someday, hopefully sooner than later.
I was thinking it was the darker Smoke Green on the side of an Annie rather than the top, but can a bamboo stalk really come in Caddy Green? Did Curt do a refin on it?
I have said this many times: The 120th Bamboo Annie is IMHO the best combination and looks and specs on a Gretsch. I am always surprised that more people don't own one.
That's kind of what this tread is about: surfacing the Bamboo Annie owners, but I didn't want to limit it to just the Annie owners b/c the Bamboo Yellow/Copper Mist combo is such a thing of beauty (pictures sometimes don't do it justice) that I wanted to see 'em all.
Andy, I sold all my other Gretsches except my 120th Annie, she's my main and only electric guitar now. I don't need no other.
So far I did the locker tuner mod, a treble bleed mod, and put a tru arc on her.
Recently I had to do the toothpick correction of the strap lock.
Bud soundwise, oooooooh. And the looks: judge for yourself at our webside:
www.lanskybrothers.nl, however there are not too much closeups.
The closest you can get is at the end of this clip:

One day, one day I will own one of these beauties... now quickly over to the Country Gentleman Club...
here is mine
Beauties, one an all. Keep 'em coming!
That's a magazine pic bobframe! Nice!
Man, I gotta get me a better camera . . .
And a deer antler chandelier!
Great pic, Bob.
bobframe...!!!
That is an incredible pic of a bamboo Gretsch!!!
btw....I totally want to get drunk and swing from that chandelier in my mink studded codpiece! May I....?
It's the House Of Bamboo!

Lovely guitars, folks. The Bamboo/Copper color scheme IS beautiful, in the eye of this particular beholder.
Bobframe, thats a Christmas card I'd love to get.
Ya know, I've been really thinking I want a 6120, and have been deadfast on this.. my gear fund has been lifted for the year and been shopping around, but damn.. I keep seeing the Bamboo's showing up and thinking I might be headed for my second Annie... this is killing me guys..
Shuie, would I do a rumba, mambo, or samba to that tune? You appear to be a gentleman who would know such things.
I'm thinking mambo . . .
Not only that, but there's a snake in your parlor.
OK, I would love to add my two bamboo babies...a 67 Rally and 57 Streamliner. I just joined up with photobucket and will try and figure out how to post pics. If someone knows, let me know. It is about time I started to share some of my collection and get with the photobucket program.
Aha. Just saw on another post that Ric 12 posted the instructions. Many thanks for that. I will now give it a go....
jackrd, my pics came from photobucket.
try this:
go to the photobucket picture you wish to add to the gdp thread.
when you click on a pic in photobucket and you see the large version of the pic, do you see a box to the left that is labeled "share this image"? if you do, then there should be 4 sections below and one of them says "html code" with a white window to the right.
copy and paste the contents (you do know "copy and paste', right?) into a reply window on the thread you wish to see the pic appear in.
that should do it.
Hands down, the prettiest guitar on the market.
I love my bamboo Annie. It is a 2004, 6118T-120 and my main player. I nearly traded it a while back but I am SO glad that I didn't. I would have missed it terribly. The TV Classics sound awesome and not only do these guitars look great but they play and sound great as well. If I ever run across a Bamboo Yellow Annie Jr. I will be all over that! Here's a few pics of mine.
This is my pickguard with signtures from Fred Gretsch, Joe Carducci, and Kim Falcon. I've since added Paul Pigats signature and have room for Brian Setzer, if I ever meet him. I took the pickguar off so the signature don't get ruined and will likely frame it with the signed pictures of everyone on there.
Here is me and Fred Gretsch at the Norcal roundup.
And here's a fun one! Playing along with Ric123string and Parabar! That was so much fun!
