Modern Gretsch Guitars

2006 6120 Nashville

Recently I traded my '73 STRAT even-up for this guitar! It sat in a case for all but 5mins of it's life before I got it...... rescued it really.

Wonder how/if they differ from other year models?

Nice...congrats!!

Congrats. Nice score. I'm a bit perplexed as to what 6120 variation your new 6120 is based upon what appears to be a zero fret and standard, non-G cut Bigsby. Could it be a '59 LTV or non-TVJ / non- lacquer '59 that was available at the time? Looks great by the way.

Great guitar you've got there! I'd like hearing stories of guys 'discovering' Gretsches, hollow/semi-hollowbodies in particular.

Could this be a very (very) late 6120-(19)60?

2.5" thick or 2.75" thick? Looks great.

8

It's a 1960 reissue. 2.75" I guess, though measures a bit more than that.
