I got that email too. Nice pic of the Exec he plays through but can't say I was enthralled with the overall sound. Not the amp's doing, but rather the added effects.
I enjoyed it, nice smooth intro building up into a loud roar. The looper gave it layers that fit the song just right.
Enjoyable. Pardon my ignorance, but who is the guitarist? I was't crazy about some of then FX, but that's me. He used them effectively.
I'd've enjoyed to have heard it in the theater. I'm "tuned" to theaters having worked in them most of my life. Things sound much differently in a huge room.
I like the end figure, where the tune morphs into the closing section of Running Down A Dream then skids to a sudden halt.
One thing you can't knock about Gretsch guitars, they've always had good brakes.
He sounds great.
