Chris - Bad Boy & Peaches sounds great. The rest of October is pretty much booked up, and I'm not sure if anyone wants to put it off 'til November, or December.

Yes that's right, an auction house. They started doing shows and open mic nights in between auctions recently with great success.
I'm especially excited to have this jam here because this is where my Dad started out his career as a banker, and I have very fond childhood memories of this place, playing in the vault with the money, and running the sugar out of my system in and out of the offices.
There's a stage with a drum riser and a really good Mackie board with an oversized P.A. so sound will not be an issue this time round.
It looks like Gretsch has already graced the stage there as well:

John do you need another drummer? I asked my buddy Tim if he was interested in coming along. He couldn't give me a yes or no for. Last night a friend of his from work was killed in a bike wreck so he was in no shape to decide what to do. The guys a first rate drummer.

I know I'm going to need two copies of 22 Dollars -- one for myself and one for the ex-Mrs. Flyer (she heard the Gas Money feature on public radio a couple of years ago -- entirely independent of me, mind you! -- dug your stuff and told me all about it; I already knew, but I didn't tell her so as not to dampen the enthusiasm of her discovering and sharing).

I'd love to bring Django but he too has an attitude ... He likes the acoustic stuff, but when I turn on an amp he heads for the hills ... He looks like a sweet guy, but be afraid!
