Steve???? Nope...try Shawn.
Spoke with our drummer, and he's going to be in Ft. Walton Beach that weekend, but perhaps I can bring a bass player along!
Gonna pass a good time!
Aiiiieeeeeeeeyyyyeeeeeeeee
So Steve Roux has been added to the list with the possible addition of a bass player and a drummer in tow.

Hey there Wenzel,
We're looking at a South Jersey jam sometime in the fall.
You going to be back in NJ for that?

Fellows, I'll be stuck at work with no way to get off. I wish I could make it, and I definitely will next year, should this happen again. Sorry. You guys have fun.

Sorry Steve, uh, Sparky, uh, Shawn- I'm terrible with names. I must have had a brain fart. I might be able to get a drummer if he isn't booked already. He plays out around town quite a bit.
Darn Troy- You want me just to ship that incredibly hideous hurricane Katrina damaged bass to you then? I was thinking I could get it out of my music room.

I don't have room anywhere in my house for another object with frets on it right now. I'll have to pass. I DO greatly appreciate the offer, though. It's most generous of you. And I really do absolutely hate missing the chance to meet and play guitars with all you guys. So goes life...............

So do you guys want to get a possible song list together so we can all jam on something, or would you rather just wing it?

Mark, I thought we'd be following you? you're the singer, right ?
actually, just "winging it" is more fun. remember we're in Louisiana. Gumbo is a little of this and a little of that. everybody can bring something. and everybody can put something in the pot.

I've got the PA and Mics. and a Boss BR-1200 Dig recorder ( hope some-one knows more about it than me ). If you want some tunes worked on jus' send name and key. Should be enough. I know Brent wants a " boogie " type song, I think ?? Song list would be helpful I think. Heck, we are all Pros ! Right. Don

Someone suggested Summertime in the key of A. I think the original is in E.
Summertime and the livin' is easy. catfish are jumpin' and the cotton is high...
How's that for starters.

Curtis, I think it is E, but if they can sing it in A, that'll be fine, too. I'll just bring my capo. ;o))
I've got a couple of Kris Kristofferson songs and a couple of Gordon Lightfoot songs that I can do. I've also have a couple that I've written. and as Don brought out, we can do "Guitar Boogie". oh, and some "blues" would be nice.

Hey. I got off of work, so I'm going. I talked to Don this morning. I'll be away from the computer for the next week, but I'll be back the 27th for all the details. I don't know that I've ever heard "Summertime", but I'll wing it. (Read: I'll crash and burn when we play "Summertime".) Looking forward to this, fellows.
