Hi, I'm a Gretsch player who lives in Central New Jersey, Looking to jamm with others. I'm 57 years old, into Rockabilly, 60's British invasion as well as other classic rock music. Have played in other bands recently. We were jamming in a studio in Manhattan and also Jersey City. Not looking for anything serious, just have some fun. Play lead guitar, but willing to share lead, rythum duties with another player. If you live in the area and are looking to jamm with another player, or have a band and are looking for a guitarist who plays in the Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins or George Harrison style, send me a PM. Thanks, Vince

I'm actually looking to jamm on a regular basis, like twice a month, like I was doing before. It was great fun.

Just realized what you were referring to. I didn't know there was a Jersey jamm in the works for next month. Sounds very interesting. Where can I get info about it?

Gary, how's that bass coming?

The bass sounds great it's the idiot behind it that sucks! I get 2 or 3 good days in then the arm starts up.
I picked up a CD called Bassic Instinct that for the most part is beyond my capabilities but there's some stuff I can catch on to. That lil' amp is trip though! I'm trying to work out how that much sound comes out of such a lil' box!

Hey Vince,
That'd be great if you can make it down. We're about an hour from the Princeton/Trenton area, if that gauges the distance at all for ya.
I found a home for that GFS Brooklyn pickup you sold me finally. I'm making a cigar box guitar and using that in it. What do you think it will sound like?

Hi Crowbone: I didn't realize you were the guy who bought the GFS Brooklyn!! :) It should sound pretty good. My tech guy still talks about the sound of that PU. Kind of like a P-90. I'm gonna try my best to make it down on the 12th of October! Would love to meet up with fellow Gretsch fans!! I'll let you know for sure by next week!

Good one Chet 57!! I always laugh when I go into a Guitar Center and the next oldest person in the place is like 25 years behind me! :)
