I Had a Great time at the mini NJ roundup!

1

Even though I was super hung over I had a Blast. Met some really great people. And played some songs that really rocked. and a some that didn't rock so much but were still really fun to play. I had a great time. Next time I am limiting ALL amps to 5 watts. so we don't get the great Volume wars again. Ha Ha. Just joking. I look forward to see you guys and gals again real soon. Maybe next time I'll play some guitar. not just bass. Cheers -Brian

I didn't have time to take any shots. I was playing the whole time. I think a lot of others took lost o' pics.

Just got home. It was a fun (and loud) day. Brian, your standup bassin' was awesome.

Thanks to all of you that made the trip, especially FFpaul & Mark who schlepped from DC.

Here's a group shot. I have other pics I'll need to go thru, but there were better photographers there.

Woo hoo! Fun time!

8

Curt you gotta downsize those pics! They're huge!

9

650 wide and 451kb?

10

It wasn't such a mini-roundup, was it?

Had a great time, perfect day, lots of good music and lots of volume! These informal roundups are just the thing, I think, to get a body through winter.

I wish I had some photos to post -- I swear I'm giving up with the iPhone photos... all of mine look fuzzy.

Great time. Broke the ice and actually played a bit for the first time at a roundup thanks to some encouragement from folks. It's a bit intimidating with some great players there, but it was fun and gave me reason to practice more. Thanks to NJ Bob for putting this together. Sorry WiskeyBri for blocking the shot of your base above. At least Curt got a good pic of it. It really is a looker. Good time had by all! 8-) :D

Shit. I'm still buzzing from today.

There were moments with great playing. The acoustics of the room were pretty hard, but still...it worked.

Oh, the food was pretzels, beer, donuts and pasta. I think we ate better in college (my bad). :P

18

You forgot cookies Bob...

It was a fantastic day spent with friends, what could be better? For me it was refreshing to get back to the way it started with the focus being on playing with no agenda.

Thanks for taking the lead Bob it sure was fun.

There are many of the same faces from the Nashville/Baltimore Roundups, but there are also some faces that I don't remember seeing before. How about some names to accompany those photos?

Looks like some happy faces there. Very cool!

Looks and sounds like it was a blast. One of these days I'll have to something like that up here. My wife wants to do a full out roundup. For some strange reason she likes all you crazy people.:D

Left to right-
Front row: crowbone, alpep, NJBob, RedRocker, & munman.
Back row: Andy, Mark, Tom, Neal, WhiskeyBri, Baba, FreqFlyrPaul, Metman & Curt

For Andy, Tom & munmanm this was their first roundup, and surely not their last. Also, munman brought two buds, Bob (who left before the pic) & Randy (who was taking pics).

Now we're talking. Looks like loads of fun.

EDIT: Was Mark playing one of those custom pinstriped 5120's that came out a few years ago?
