Hello to all... I am a new to this site and am having problems with the Gen Tech Questions page and don't know how to search for anything but a particular guitar. Is there a help page or somewhere I can learn how to use this site? Sorry to be a bother right off the bat ... There is so much I can learn here and maybe contribute some. Thanks Mike

If you can't find it just start a thread with your question. The people here are great and know a bunch of stuff. Problem with your guitar? No problem, we have an answer.

That is a good question Mike. I do not believe there is a search here. I was told by someone here to: go to your computers web bar and type in Gretsch Discussion Pages search--------- and fill in the blank with whatever you want to search for. Sounds like a pain in the ass...which it is, but that is what I was told.

...ok.... Let me ask this then.... is there someway to view the database of all the pictures that are there. I know I have read on may occasions for people to be sure and send in pics cuz that everyone loved pics. I am going to do some things to my new 5120 and thought I'd enjoy looking and even get some additional ideas. Thanks again.

If you want to do a search of any topic (not photos) on the GDP, the best way to do it is with a Google search.
For example, if you wanted to find out about the after market for a replacement pickguard, you would go to Google and use whatever search terms you think would be the strongest (e.g., replacement + pickguard + Gretsch) and then add site:gretschpages.com to the end of it. So, the search query would be: replacement + pickguard + gretsch site:gretschpages.com.
A search such as that will take you to every location on the GDP (because you limited the site to the GDP) where those terms are used together.

Welcome Mike! To see the data base, Click on guitars in the menu on your left. This will take you to the family of guitars. Click on the models your looking for. Once there you'll notice rectangular boxes near the top of the page. The second box from the left will display the models for that family of guitars. (If I recall correctly) HTH.
