European GDP Roundup '08 - Final Call & Other Info.

Closing date for signing up for the Roundup is on Thursday next week (21/8). The Hotel needs definitive bookings by then. We have a very good price - 30 euro incl. breakfast! LaterThanThat joiners are of course welcome but then you have to bring a tent or in another way arrange your own accomodation.

So if you have been in an undecisive mood lately - shake it off and join in. NEW entries, please sign up in THIS thread

We will gather sometime around 16.00 at the Frisia for some refreshments after loading a lot of guitars, amps & gear into place.

In a fairly democratic spirit we have agreed for some songs to play, but hopefully there will be both time and urge for more than this.

Evening dinner will be Tennessean Style at the Frisia.

Normal, not Guitar obsessed, people will show up at the Pub around 23.30. Nightclubbing starting at 1.30, so it looks like its party all night long!

I will join up with Sjolte and Danman in Amsterdam, and from there with car to Schraard. Dunno bout the rest, but i suggest that we solve our transportations in this thread, especially if more people join in.

Well, we have Will! He will be taking a carload of equipment to record this incredibly historic event.
The CD will be on sale in september and our leader Dr.Nyl named it already: 'The Magnificent Seven', although I think there will be six of us, but I may have lost count.

I hope we can still enjoy ourselves with the world watching and listening in on us but we certainly will do our best. And otherwise we will just be posting pictures of guitars and amps.

Actually, in that case I have only always been in one man bands, because I think the only important member of a band is the guitar player. The rest sort of hangs around on stage and makes some noise to muddy up the sound of the guitar.

All names have been given to the hotel. So everyone will have a place to sleep and breakfast for 30 Euro each.

It will be a 'private party' by accident. I just got a flyer about another party in town on the 6th, so even the regular customers won't be at Frisia.

It'll be fun!
