From the Department of Bloody Overwhelming Redundancy Department, being at least one photo of EVERY guitar Gretsch had in the booth for the show.

Some of these pics are awful, and some of them are right charming, but in the obsessive completist interest of including every guitar, I'm posting them all. Your favorite may be in here, and I hope I favored it with competent if not creative snapshot photography.

I haven't take the time to label any of the pics; if you can't figure out the identity of any guitar, just ask and I'll make something up.

All pics were taken in a span of about 45 minutes before the show opened Saturday. For the first bunch, the room lights were down (though the psychedelic flashback lightshow which ran constantly hadn't yet started for the day); for most of the pics, the room lights were up for somewhat more even lighting.

Do study the pornfest; there will be a quiz. (With prizes!)

I'll take one of each and a root beer float...to go! That is some serious sensory overload. Wonder why I don't see more of the sparkle jets with the pearly drum material covering out there. I love the look of that guitar.

Not to put too fine a point on it, I think I would just have to sit down and spend some quality time picking around on all of them for a while. One of them would likely be like a ring right through my septum that I just couldn't live without.

I gotta' have dynas this time around though.

bobby, yes they did. Shin, the production manager from Terada, was there in that capacity (and for any tweaks needed). He did in fact wipe down every one every morning - and attend to them through the day as necessary, between grubbifying wankages.

Jamie Ferguson and I also kept them sparkling as we saw the need. And we're all sticklers about keeping the Bigsby arms in the proper location, up and parallel with the strings, ready for action.

Another silly question that I've been wondering about all weekend...When picking the guitars that would be at the NAMM show: did they just ship one of each model in boxes without really checking them over much and then setting them up at NAMM before the show, or was each guitar really gone over with a fine-tooth comb (more so than at the factory- to make sure bigsby's were aligned, tuners were aligned, setups were perfect etc.) before being boxed up and sent out?

That sunburst 5120 got me. Reminds me of an old Annie, even though its probably closer to a 6120. Still, it looks great, and I think a pair of Hilos would sound great in there.

One thing I did notice, Is that every guitar I tried at the show was In-Tune! :)

Whew that's alot of guitars. I've never enjoyed scrolling through so many pictures. That new 125th Annie's color really does come out different in every picture.
