atlantaspike makes a good suggestion that in honor of the day after the day the music died (though it survived, of course), I might work in some Holly-Richardson-Valens questions.
So the first, possibly a bit of a stumper.
The three who crashed aeroplanically were playing a tour called the Winter Dance Party. My understanding is that they were booked on the northern leg of the tour.
Who was on the southern leg of the same tour at the time of the crash?
(I know one answer: if yours doesn't match mine, you'll have to come up with documentation.)

Ric, ALL Europeans know what Rt 66 is. In season, you can hardly hear English at stops along the Mother Road. It's mostly German.
