NAMM 2020 — Gretsch Custom Shop Event


This is a Custom Shop G6210 Junior Jet in black stain over Roundup stain. It has a maple body and mahogany back and sides. The body is trimmed in studded black leather. The neck is roasted figured maple with a black stringer with a roasted figured maple cap on the headstock. The fingerboard is also roasted maple with black pearl thumbnail inlays. The frets are American Standard style. The nut is from buffalo horn. The pickups are P90 soapbars by Lindey Fralin. The tuners are Gotohs. The bridge is a Synchro-Sonic with a Bigsby B5CVT tailpiece.

Designed by Chelsea Clark and built by Stephen Stern.


Here is a Custom Shop G6134 Penguin Walnut Top. As the name states, the top is a walnut and maple laminate with mahogany back and sides, set off with tortoise shell/cream binding. The neck is mahogany with an ebony fretboard that has a mother of pearl inlay at the twelfth fret. The frets are American Standard wire. The electronics are TV Jones Classic pickups with tone pot wiring with no load tone pot and treble bleed on the master volume. The tuners are Grover Imperials. The guitar is finished off with an AOM bridge and a Cadillac “G” tailpiece.
