I worked on a trawler out of Montauk Point called Mystic Way...those tugs are some serious stuff. Yeah, probably the most interesting job I ever had.... I havent seen the Ocean in almost 15 years....

Hey kids!
As you might well imagine, there's much to tell, and much more to come. Well over 200 more pics, more video and audio...
The event is actually still going (it winds down today), but I'm waiting at La Guardia now for my flight out, so obviously we've now crossed the border of Breaking News/News at 11 reporting to extended-time virtual coverage.
So we'll just take it easy, and over the next few days, it'll all come out.
For one thing, we'll want to know what could possibly have been going on with this Gretschwreck:
.
OK, boarding time...

Just got back in from NY. My band played the festival Sunday on the roof of Cha Chas and what a time we had! Definitely one of the best venues I've played. On the roof with the beach at our backs. It was awesome.
I had the pleasure of meeting Proteus, Joe Carducci, Kim Falcon, Jason Herndon, and his finance Jamie. What great people!
It was a great weekend. If you're in the NY area next you should definitely consider going.

And what a lovely wreck it is, indeed!I surmise that this must have had something to do with the tearing down of the Gretsch display area and waiting for the cases to be located so as to stow them away safely.

Yesterday was lost to the project of finishing up coverage in computer-fixin' and all-day-drivin' to get to this Mississippi River home of Shaeffer pens, where my day job has a week's worth of work to do in three days.
Work starts in minutes, and goes to whenever - wherefore I slam some catch-up pictures continuing our story...
