Balto-DC Roundup FSR “Signature” Guitar! (Artist’s Conception)

26

Looks great, Paul. Any sense of price?

27

This guitar is stunning. I bet it sounds even better. I would be happy to rock one of these.

28

The Electromatics are entirely worthy of the Gretsch name. I was not a 5120 fan, but I have been won over by the 5420T. I am really enjoying mine.

29

I'm all about the Electromatics. You should try my 5120. Ask Redrocker.

30

That's a great looking guitar !

31

I hope this is going to be the start of a collectors series.

32

A shot of the righty's body.

It's so Christmasy!

33

This is incredible. From concept at a Roundup to an actual model from Gretsch! Great story and cool looking guitar!

34

Looks great, Paul. Any sense of price?

– db62

Rocky's keeping the price in the upper Electromatic atmosphere––projecting a little over $1,000, and you can opt for a hardshell case instead of a gigbag just for the difference in price between the two (that's a good deal).

Although we don't know if the entire shipment will arrive in time for Balto-DC 2016, at least we'll have these two for people to check out.

Me, too. I have all these ideas, now.

And they're all affordable.

The prototypes have landed... and the lefty has gotten a Bigsby upgrade:

37

Groovy. Nice job Paul! I still have time to save my pennies.

38

Zowie!

John, your Penguin needs a red sparkle friend.

Paul, that Bigsby should be required.

39

This is giving me more cats-eye GAS!

40

The V cut looks great on there.

41

Alas, I have no cats eyes. I need cats eyes.

Get with the program!

44

I'm working on it NJBob. I'm in a bit of trouble though, my local music store has a very nice Epiphone Emperor that I can get for around $500. I'm so tempted.

45

They look really cool, Paul. I'm really glad that good things have come from a collection of guitar lovers having a jam. I won't make the 2016 Balto-DC Roundup, but am aiming for either the 2016 Nashville or 2017 Balto-DC Roundup.
