Anyone played one of these? Anyone played a guitar through one of these? Any help would be appreciated... I found one on craigslist that I am interested in.
Also what are some ballpark prices for these?

Dunno about anyone on GDP, but didn't Paul Kossof play through a Marshall bass head? Not sure if it was a Super Bass or its predecessor. Either way, the circuitry will be similar.
I'm guessing that the preamp stage will be set to be more bass-responsive than the guitar amp equivalent and that the amp will probably have more headroom: if I remember correctly, the cathodes in a Marshall Super Lead preamp stage filter below about 150Hz, although I may be mistaken - it's been a while!
EDIT: My bad, I thought this was in the 'Other Amps' section and assumed you were talking about a Marshall, not a Gretsch! Am now sitting in the corner of the room with the 'D' cap firmly applied!
