Well, i just won a 71 champ on the ol'bay, and i might sell my g2222. It's got a weber speaker, jj tubes, and the grill is recovered with fender oxblood.

well, this is also dependent on how much i like this champ too, if it's a pooper ill get rid of the champ.

it is a 71 silverface fender champ. just vol, treble, and bass controls original alnico speaker, sylvainia tubes.
ptp style wired, not on a modern pcb board.
these are def hidden jewels for sure. in fact, the bf and sf champs are the same circuit, and are all handwired up to the early 80's when fender disc the model.
if anyone knows where/how i can post a mp3 clip, i'll do a lil recording and you can all hear.
If you think the Champ is sweet you need to check out a Vibro Champ. Try to locate a 68-69 thou.
I've been preaching the virtues of the SF Champs for a loooong time now. You are right, they are diamonds in the rough. And Setzer is right too; see if you can find a vibro champ. Sometimes, you can find them labelled as "Broncos". Same amp, different name, with red lettering on the Silver Face plate.
Just about any 12ax7, 6v6, tube rectifier amp will float yer boat. Here's my Champ knockoff. It has my rotovibe leaning up against it.
