Trussrod Adjustment Question

1

This is probably a stupid question, but here it is anyway. On acoustics where the adjustment is through the soundhole, is it still righty/tighty, lefty/loosey, or is it opposite of adjustment from the headstock end? Thanks.

Yes, that rule applies to acoustics where the adjustment is through the sound hole, is it still righty/tighty, lefty/loosey (at least that is the case for Martins).

I've read/been told that with flat top acoustics you should proceed cautiously and slowly -- just a little bit at a time -- due to the thin top and glued bridge. On my Martins I've limited adjustments to 1/4 turn "per day".
