I want to replace the Space Control bridge on my Falcon to an adjustomatic bridge.
I found this on ebay but before I buy it I was wondering if anyone knows if this bridge will work on the Falcon? (radius etc) Gold Bridge on ebay

Uh oh, here come half a dozen replies recommending the bar bridge!
(drumroll, please)
Actually, I've dealt with that Ebay seller before, and they are pretty good people. I can't speak for that specific bridge, but I bought the roller version from them for a hollowbody with a 12-inch radius neck, and had absolutely no problems with either the bridge or the seller.
People don't seem to like the adjustamatics here. I've had no rattling, buzzing, or any of the other issues with mine that people discuss. I'm going to swap out for a bar bridge though, but I'll let Proteus chime in on that:
As for the radius, I just sanded down my bridge to better mate with my guitar yesterday. There is a thread about this in the electromatic section. The technique I used (compliments of bobbyrivera) is as follows. Keep a good eye on where the bridge sits when it is properly intonated. Tape down some general use sandpaper on the body of the guitar and sand back and forth neck to bigsby as close as you can where your bridge sits. The sandpaper will move around a lot, but I had some double stick tape on hand and that really helped to secure the sandpaper down. It takes a little while but it's easy enough and it worked out perfect for me.
Good luck!
What is the issue with the space control bridge?
Well, there is no problem with the space control but I would like to try an adjustomatic.
My tech used double sided tape to stick down the current bridge. It doesn't move at all. In fact I can't move the bridge base at all. So it's very solid.
I think I've just talked myself out of the adjustomatic!
The other thing you could do is try Black Rider Guitars - they have the exact Adjustomatic bridge you need and are reliable. I just bought an Adjustomatic from them.
Yeah, I think I will go for Blackrider. The description does say the bridge is for a Setzer 6120 which I thought would be a different radius to the Falcon.
While searching around for more info I found this interesting review.
Boy, they really slammed the Setzer, eh?
Dang.
I was thinking for a while that I'd like to swap to either an adjustomatic or a bar, but Proetus wisened me up. He said if I can't imagine it sounding any better (and I can't) then don't do anything to it.
That and I've foud the most compfrtable bridge for my playing is the space control so it's sticking around.
Not saying that's how it is with you, just relaying my experience.
That sounds like good advice. I do love to tinker with stuff. I think I can imagine the guitar sounding better but I guess you never know 'til you try.
While I'm at it I've ordered a powertron for the bridge.
I guess I misunderstood your post... I was talking about bridge/body mating rather than fretboard radius to bridge radius... that I can't help you out with. Though proteus did post a link about bar bridges assembled to match any fret board radius... and since you are looking for an adjustomatic... that won't help you either...
So i'm sorry I'm a bit useless ha
Good luck, and do tell how the powertron sounds...
Sorry I should have made that a bit clearer.
I hadn't actually thought about the bridge base mating with the body, Matt. that could be another issue, but I'll leave that to the tech.
The guy that wrote the review (I posted the link above) seemed to the that the adjustomatic was a 12 inch radius and the ABR-1 is a 9.5 inch radius.
As for the powertron, I'm just looking for more output on the bridge. I found that it just wasn't cutting through when playing with other guitar players (strats etc.)

Check your pole height placement to TV's website and adjust accordingly!
If that don't work crank you amp!
I've been thinking about Powertrons a lot, but worried that I'll lose that twang in the bridge... twang is key, see? But if it just sounds like a TV Classic on steroids as i've heard it described, I'm in. (will my tone get an asterisk?)
In any event, you might as well split the coils while you do it!
Let us know how it all goes.
The bridge arrived today. (Gold Gotoh Adjustomatic)
The bridge saddles aren't cut properly. The top E string pops out at the slightest strum. The low E doesn't even sit on the saddle at all.
The question is, can a tech fix this by cutting the saddles properly?
The powertron arrived today so I have to see the tech anyway to have that installed.

Most certainly.
If you ask, he can also cut them so that the bridge radius is a closer match to the fretboard radius.
Oh thats good. I will give him a call today
I got my falcon back today. Powertron and adjustomatic installed.
First off, the bridge. I just had a quick strum at the shop without plugging in and immediately noticed that the guitar sounds very different. It seemed to be louder and brighter. The guitar seemed to lose a bit of bottom end (which I was hoping for)
The intonation is spot on. I couldn't be happier.
Got home, plugged in, Oh My God! I don't know how to explain how good the tone was.
The powertron is unbelievable. I heard that it is supposed to sound dark and have less twang. Well, I can tell you there is so much clarity and sparkle with this pickup. I also noticed that it feeds back a lot easier than the TV classic plus. I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
Matt, you're absolutely right about the powertron being a TV Classic on steroids. I don't really think you lose twang at all.
I think I've pretty much got this guitar where I want it to be. I will takes Pappy's advice now... I don't think I can imagine this guitar sounding any better.
I'm leavning the adjusto on my setzer and I have had no ill effect from it. I have a bar on my club and like it a lot more than the space control bridge that it came with.
Anything but the space control hey?!
Maybe a treble bleed? I've never played a guitar with that mod so I guess I don't know what I'm missing out on.
