I picked up one of those off of a clearance table several years ago. Tried it on a couple of Strats and couldn't tell any difference. I think I still have it but I don't know where. Maybe I should find it and put it on my Gent because the mutes don't get nearly enough questions by themselves!!!!!!!

MF sells it for 25 BUCKS????
If someone really feels the need to add mass to the headstock, how about a whole pack of lead weight tape from any decent sporting goods store for under $5.00? Strap on as much as you want to the back of the headstock, and it doesn't have a stupid name like "Fatfinger".
oh brother...

Well if a C-clamp works, just imagine what one of THESE will do:
And look! it's color-coordinated for the 6120 series! Can't wait to add sustain to my Gretsch Roundup with one of these babies!

The same company used to make a brass plate that fit on the back of the headstock. It didn't do well because you had to remove the tuners to install it and they had to make different shapes for Strat, Tele etc. They call it "Fathead" which was kinda catchy.
I had a bass that was neck heavy. I guess it needed a "Fatass".

Of course, if Tartan Phantom's vise is a bit too much, you can always scale back a little to these...
