Yes, like mentioned here: Back. The string length between the 12th and the bridge needs to be a bit longer.

i watched that clip ,,, the guy did have some good points i thought , anyway , set the intonation on my Scotty special ,,, spot on and sounds killer

I always remember it because Flat and Forward begin with an F...if its flat go for- ward with the bridge, if sharp go back... Geoff

That's how I remember it: Fret - Flat - Forward:

i.e. if the fretted note is flat, move the saddle forward towards the neck. If it's sharp, do the opposite.
