Gretsch Garage Sale

Late 60s Viking. Plays great , some minor stuff.

This was my first Gretsch I bought in Atlanta Jan 21st 1985. It’s pretty mulch as I bought it then. The back of neck was refinished black. The tuning fork is missing. OHSC Refretted at some point with bigger frets.

Played lots of fun gigs in statesboro ga with it.

I actually pretty much forgot I had it in the basement until recently.

A little bit of binding gassing in one section. I’ll get those pics up.

But it’s a cool old guitar that’s got a nice wide flat neck. Smooth player.

I can also take to Curt for a nice set up if the buyer wants before shipping. His shop is close to my house.

$1200 obo. Ships to lower 48 PayPal gift works

Here’s a few pics

Oh man! Don't sell that guitar! You'll want it back someday. Way too cool to part with.

5

Well I don’t really have any strong feeling about it. It’s been unplayed for many many years.

So it’s better off making someone happy.

I have all I need (guitar wise) to make me happy now.

The poor mans White Falcon! Great price for someone there Fred!

I'm a sucker for big honkin frets and WIDE NECK if it's dead on 1 3/4", not 1/32nd less even... then I"m toast.... no one misses the tuning fork... That's a smoking deal I say

8

That's very cool. So close by too......but alas, no money in the guitar budget at this time.

9

That's a great deal on a very cool guitar. I had a very similar one (but with the tuning fork) Those supertrons sounds great.

I would very much like to have it. But, unfortunately...
