Does anybody happen to have a potentiometer nut for a 6mm mini-pot shaft lying around.
One of the nuts for the pots to my Gretsch Paul has the threads miscut and is useless. I searched all of the parts places and I can get them if I want to buy a bag of 100.
Bear, sorry but my english isn´t precise enough to hit what you excactly mean,Please can you post a picture to figure the part out.here in Germany are a lot of Electric part shop, where you can get nearly everything and at the end I may can help you with it.
An idea. Go to a hardware store and buy a 6mm nut take it home and grind it down with a bench grinder so that is thin enough to do the trick........... presto

I no longer have a workshop or that's what I would have done. I sold everything but my basic hand tools including my work bench when we moved out of California to Kentucky.
I think I got what you need.
Should be the same as my SG kit no?
I owe you one fir the filter covers and screws...

Paul,
Yes they should be exactly the same thin little aluminum nuts with 6mm threaded shaft hole and a 10mm outside diameter.
I also need a "Custom Made" black plastic plaque *4" X 7/16" to cover the stop tail holes because I'm going to go a different way on the vibrato. I'm just not crazy about the Bowen Bar. I'm not ging to screw the placque down, instead I'll use adhesive.
I believe I can just drop some solder into the stop tail hole for the ground wire can't I?
I appreciate it Paul. Let me know what the plaque will cost and I'll PayPal it right away.

Sorry Steve,I thought I still had the minnies I pulled from my New Jet but apparently trashed them.
Man oh man Bear, get some bubble gum and screw that neck on. You're taking longer than me!
