One last note about this later model - I was worried about the cateye cracks that are occasionally seen on these, so I figured I would take it to my luthier bud and have him put a little reinforcement at the points on the underside of the top.
Well, it turns out the factory must have gotten tired of the cracks as well, as this one, and I'm assuming other later models, already has this sort of reinforcement.

I have a G400B from the last year of production of this model, 2009, I think. Owned since new, nearly mint, very cool black.

I've got a lollar pickup attached to a stock pickguard that also bolts on to the axe, very quick convert from acoustic to electric.
If I get the asking price from gretsch page guy & don't have to ship, I'll throw in the pickup for free, something I'm not doing in the CL...
Only reason I'm selling is I picked up a G450 and this ends up duping it... Overall, super guitar.
