Gretsch G3440 Hawaiian LTD. Pearl neck, w fishman preamp and Bigsby pkup $1650

Gretsch Hawaiian Deluxe Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar (G3440) in Tobacco Sunburst. Solid Player but has its share of pressure marks, dings from stage use over the last 19 yrs. It weighs about 4.5lbs, a nut width of just 1 11/16 inches and a scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Solid Sitka spruce top, laminated maple back and sides, two-piece medium to thin maple neck with ebony center strip, and bound celluloid fretboard with 20 frets and neo-classic black plastic thumbprint position markers, the headstock also has celluloid overlay. Stock fishman active pickup w additional Galetta built Bigsby sound hole pickup. (individual jacks for either pickup). When I got this guitar, the previous owner had flipped the nut over and was using this as a left handed instrument, so there are additional holes on the guitar for strap button, and pickguard mounting. Its back to right side normality. Grover imperial tuners have been added as well. Sold as is, there are no returns. This is a well used instrument that is a strong player.

That Galleta is a very cool and unusual pickup. How is the balance between the wound and plain strings? Which pickup was used in the recording, if any?

Galetta has a pretty balanced pickup albeit very warm, which I'm guessing is from the thickness of the alum cover. That video that I posted sounds like a mic, the fishman in the bridge yields a more modern and very full response

no bigsby pickup, I'm keeping it.. Guitar price lowered to $998 F$#K's sake, its a rare gretsch. Rare like 1999 made in Korea rare!!!

The world is a cruel place sometimes, Tavo.

I'm attracted...always a sucker for mother-of-whatever. But alas, short on the ready, and it would be hard to justify anyway.

Best of luck.
