Boy, it's a buyer's market these days! I had once turned down $12K, when early 2.5" light-trestled V-cut 6120s were topping $15K.

Guitars go sloooow. We may have reached maximum demographic saturation. Peak guitar. It's not so much that it's a buyer's market - it's that there just aren't many buyers.

Yep! And emerging players seem to be into the churn of the modern entry-level stuff, rather than the thrill of the hunt looking for vintage stuff. Nothing wrong with that. I’ll bet Beatle guitars and amps have even cooled off. When I was a teen, that stuff was hot.
