Ran across this the other day. Rudy's says that it has most of Mr. Easton's Lefty guitar collection for sale.
Anyone want to buy that White Tiki prototype? Here's your chance.

I don't think I've ever seen a lefty Ricky before (other than Macca's bass).

I think the White Tiki is awesome. I think it would have been a bit cooler now that I've had a while to think about it, if it was a white Billy Bo instead with Tiki appointments. I'm not a fan of Falcon headstocks on anything other than Falcons (or Phoenix's I guess), but that's just me.

That 58' tele is the cleanest I have ever seen. I am thinking of buying it and having some EMG's and a Floyd Rose installed.

Around a year and a half ago, there was a thread on another forum about investing in vintage guitars and the conversation meandered into baby boomers cashing out. Elliot said that he didn't think the younger generation would have the same zeal for the guitars that we all loved and he planned on cashing out his collection in 10 to 15 years. Who knows. Maybe he's just getting an early start to perhaps pick up some devalued California real estate. I'll bet he's still probably got a few choice gits under the bed.

My God, that's still one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen. I wonder why he's selling that and keeping the Falcon?
(Sorry, I need to see the guitar right here in the thread.)

If there were ever a modern collectible guitar, that's it. Beautiful, a helluva player, and rare as rare gets. What'd they make 2? 3? Just the one?

I believe there's only the one. If it were a righty, I'd be on that like a duck on a junebug.

Wow... now pick the goddamned thing up off the ground ya maniac!
Bloody nora. What a collection. I suppose in a way it makes sense to sell them. I mean, what's the point in keeping them until death? Might as well get some cash and and, I don't know... go live like a King in Morrocco or something.

Hey, Jimbodiddley,
Rickenbacker has always made their entire range of instruments available left-handed (in theory). In the above-average old days, I could go to Southpaw Guitars in Houston, and they'd have 10 lefties on the wall. They aren't even dealers now; Rickenbacker currently is so back-ordered that they don't have time to slow down to make lower-volume-selling guitars, like lefties.
Over the years, I've owned seven, including two basses, a 360, a 325V59, and a 330-12, all of which have departed. I currently own the 330 and the 36012V64 in this pic.

I remember when Elliot was showing off the White Tiki on this board. Bax: they only made this one prototype, near as we know.
I'm inquiring on the price.

I can't stop looking at that guitar... Ach - I think though that even if it were a righty, and I had loads of money, I wouldn't buy it... I'd be terrified of putting a ding in it - I'm not one of those guys who can buy guitars and then not play them.

It's pretty for sure, but apart from the EE-approved longer scale and bridge/Bigsby setup, it's pretty much the same guitar as the current limited filtertron Penguin, isn't it?

But, but... Walter!
It's got tiki graphics!!
And it's left-handed. (The current limited FT Penguin is not offered left-handed.)
Being a guitar that EE has owned clearly does not make it unique. He goes through guitars like I go through 6-packs of Dr. Pepper.

That aged white finish is what makes it for me.
Hey Zuma: do we know that Elliot still has the Falcon?
Oh, and Rudy's says they're waiting on Elliot to give them prices, but they're fielding offers in the meantime. I'll wait for the price; though if EE's divesting with final intent, the prices probably won't be very enticing.

I know Eliot is back buying Gibson's again. He just had RS do a georgious Cherry refin on his Re-issue Les Paul. It is a very stunning guitar. He has also posted several other really cool Gibson purchases. I am surprised about the Teaki Jet though. That is one cool guitar.
