I ordered a B11 to put on my pro jet. Do I need to get a roller bridge or will I be fine with mine? Also wonder if I need to get a b12 to keep tension. Any suggestions?

Bigsby recommends the B12 for guitars like the Jet. The tension bar helps with the angle of the strings over the bridge, which helps keep them in their saddles on some types of bridge.
That said, whether or not a B11 will work depends on your bridge. I've seen a B11 on a DuoJet that had a Synchrosonic bridge, but if it had been an Adjustomatic or a bar bridge I think it would have been hard to bend strings without popping them out of their saddles.
As far as using Space Control bridges with a Bigsby, they're not required. Virtually any bridge will work with a Bigsby.

Without a tension roller, there's not going to be much break angle. You will need to deepen the slots in the saddles to keep the strings from popping out. I tried a b3 on mine and did not like it.

looking at the Bigsby page i thought it was the B7 that was the best choice for the Pro Jet...?

I don't know why Gretsch chose to use the B5 on the PJ, they don't fit very well on arched top guitars. It should have been the B7.

Indeed it is one of the choices, along with the B3 and B12. If I were considering the non-tension bar type, the shorter B3 would be my choice, I suppose, but the B12 looks pretty good on the 6129BZ.

I agree. Aesthetically the B5 doesn't look good IMO either. A couple guys on here modded their Pro Jets with B3's too.
I always thought B11's and B12's looked really cool. I wish they made a B6 with the cutout.

The b12 does look great on the 6129BZ. Thats kinda the look i'm going for. ince I don't now nor ever will have &10,000 sitting around to buy it I'm doing what I can to recreate it in some meager fashion. Found the same grover tuners his one has on ebay. I know structually it's different but at least cosmetically close is cool for me. I wish the silver "sparkle" pro jet was actually sparkly, like the synchromatic sparkle jet was.
