Jamie Guyden / City Hall Records will be releasing a CD version of Duane's 1961 LP, GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS on May 18, 2010. There is no track list as of yet, but my understanding is that there will be bonus tracks included. The best price I have found for pre-order is at: CD Universe.

I'm hoping they will include RING OF FIRE, BOBBIE, THE AVENGER & LONDONDERRY AIR. Not just outtakes.

I need to be honest here, "too honest", something I never try to be or do...
GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS
My first thought was a Motley Crue stripper bar video...HOT!
My next thought was a Jay-Z booty rap nightmare...ACK!
Oh, then, the next thought was this 60's Beach Party movie with cute, holsum girls that Mom would love!
Like Ms. Deed.
I feel better now.........

Alright!!
As I believe I'd mentioned before right here in this forum; back in the 50s/60s I had the "Mr Guitar" and "Chet in Hollywood" albums up on the wall right above my record player(with the Elephant Ears speakers extended)showcasing that purdy Country Gent, and...
...the "Girls Girls Girls" album right up there too!
Yup; that platter had lots going for it!

I recognize Annette Funecello (sp?), Brenda Lee, and the Anita Kerr Singers?

Are you sure it's not the Ray Charles Singers?

Anita Kerr Singers is a guess for the pic on the lower right only because they are on the record (as are the Jordainaires- maybe it's the Jordanaires in drag). The pic on the left is Brenda Lee and upper right is Annette.

The Jordanaires in drag...that's funny but actually would've been cool. What next the Memphis Mafia? Honestly for years I never knew who the chicks were in the lower right photo surrounding Duane. I always thought they were just a bunch of groupies selected by Jamie Records. Originally I picked up that LP back in the early 90's at a record meet just because Annette was on the cover (as I have most of her LP's). But I'm also a Brena Lee fan. I Want To Be Wanted is one of my all-time favorite tunes period followed by Whistle Bait by the Collins Kids. Thanks for the info. Bobby.
