Duane Eddy's House of Twang

Be Not Forgetful of Strangers

Thank you Tony , how seasonally appropriate . Its so good to see Duane with Richard Boone , who was a truly great character actor - The role of the rugged Paladin was just made for Richard , making " Have Gun Will Travel " perhaps one of the best western TV series ever ! ---- I believe Duane's first acting role was in the series, the two were great pals off screen . From what I understand !

The HGWT episode "The Education of Sara Jean" was broadcast in the U.S. on 9/23/61. "A Thunder of Drums" opened in New York City three days later. I'm thinking that the movie probably was filmed first, but perhaps Deed will tell us for certain.

Duane had appeared in "Because They're Young" in 1960, but as we all know it wasn't an acting role.
