I think it's about time someone built something better than the fender reverb. I hope Billy is the man to do it.

Those look like some sweet amps. I'll have to check the clips out on a better computer w/ better speakers. Also, that reverb/trem unit looks sick!

I have to say that the only one I care for aesthetically is the cowboy amp. The others could use a little work, they sound incredible though.

+1 for the BA6A, Billy. I bought 2 from Skyline when they closed along with a Stalevel. Nothing else like them or my Pultecs - can't live without 'em.

They all sound great! I may be a little partial to the cream amp. I think we could all use a "Little Kahuna"!
Great job guys!
Cheers!

Finally listened to the clips!!!
that cowboy amp is great, it has a nice fat and clear sound, and the jet sounds great through it (was it the BZ jet playing through it?).
The cream 30/10 is great also, it seems like a good amp to gig with, and also have the ability to record.
I'm excited to read/hear more about them.

At long last a bit of time to do this thread some justice. Great reporting Proteus.
I just loved all the amps - when it comes to guitars and amps there's not a lot I don't like when the guitar playing is good - as it was here - just not enough of it!
And... sorry - but I really enjoyed the high gain rock stuff - and some great playing on that Proteus.

I too have just gotten to listen to these clips. Love the cowboy (the amp!) and the Kahuna. Any word on production / availability?

The TV Jones products should be available by Winter NAMM in January. I may have to do a run of hand-built Kahunas before then because I've gotten so many requests. Tom and I will also have a range of pedals including tremolo, tone boosters, distortion, and a solid-state pedal version of the Little Kahuna...possibly a "Micro" Kahuna? As for the Gretsch Cowboy, they're part of Fender which means they'll have hundreds of board meetings before committing to anything. It took 10 years to get the BZ guitar into production. If you can't wait, I can build a custom one-off of anything.

That RCA iron compressor thing looks like something out of Goldstar Studios in the 50's...or a cold-war era Russian sub.

Looks like one helluva place to be! Well, for peeps like me, anyways... I'd be recording day after night after day... Awesome equipment, great musicians coming thru! Even my soul brother, Bruce Willis, is a client! I loved seeing that! And of course, one of my ol' clients for my photography, Mr Setzer himself.. of COURSE he's always stopping by for a jam, I'm sure! You must've loved it. All the best! MJK
