Hi All, I'm new here and would like to say howdy to all the Gretsch bass enthusiasts. I have a G6072 and am looking to get a G6145 (spectra-sonic bass). I was wondering how the access and tone in the upper notes is, on my G6072 they start to plink out around the 17 or 18 fret. I am looking for a long singing sustain from notes in the upper register, I'd love to hear any opinions or comments from G5154 owners. Will this bass do it? Thanks,
