Electrotone G6073

My first post here on the Gretsch Pages in a long time. Just bought an Electrotone Bass. It came with a Space Control bridge. I notice the spec info on this model says it comes with a 4-Saddle Adjustable bridge. Anyone else have one with the Space Control? Also thinking about going with Flat Wounds. Any recommendations on what brand and gauge I should try? That said, I'm loving this bass. The ThunderTrons are great. Thanks for any info you pass along.

I just maybe the only other person on the board with one afaik. Mine"s an 07 in O8 is when they were to have switched to the adjustable. bridge. I opted to work with Proteus and we came up with the first TA for bass. Its aluminum and without looking for the gauge strings I went with flats. It transformed in from a great bass to something outstanding. Worth its weight to look into.

I use GHS flatwounds on my short scale Jaguar bass. They seem a bit brighter than other flatwounds. I like them.

What's a TA?
a tru arc bridge
Except when it's a Tim Armstrong Country Club gittar.
If you had a Tru-Arc on a Tim Armstrong, I guess you'd have a TA-TA.
If your buddy had the same setup, wouldn't it be a great pair of ...
No. No it wouldn't. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.
