Hi - I already own a Thunder Jet bass and I'm seriously contemplating another Gretsch second bass after my Gibson SG bass got stolen during a postal shipment in England recently. I sold my Gretsch Broadkaster bass three years ago as the body was a just a bit too big for comfort. Catalogue says the Electrotone bass is 2.5" body depth, same as the Broadkaster but elsewhere it says that the Electrotone specific style body is usually 2". Any answers to Electrotone Bass body depth/size? Can't see one in England.
Also the much cheaper G2202 Junior Jet bass, (out of production?) sometimes has Gretsch on the headstock and sometimes has Electromatic, were the latter early ones? Can you can still buy one of these with Gretsch on the headstock from the USA?
