as in the title i just found a 78' 7626 TK300 Solid Body in red, played it , sounds pretty good, pricing is at 899.00 US anyone have any advice what to look for on these guitars or if that's a good price ?

I'd say that $899.00 is about 200-300.00 over priced. I don't think I'd pay more than $600 for one. And that would have to be in pristine condition. The red ones go for a little more than the natural finished ones so maybe $700, but def not $899. I've been seeing these pop up more often lately. Others should chime in with opinions as well.

alright, i figured it might be, that's why i asked, i'll keep looking until i figure out what bass i actually want. appreciate the help

as an update on this is just picked up the 5123-b Bass, it was down to that and a fender american jazz, but i liked the gretsch more. im still planning to pick up a jazz base as well
