Man, I would love to have a Nudie suit. I would wear it to the office, I swear. Funny story...

I work in a very conservative law firm. Suits and ties everyday. I was going to RHH show here a few months back, and wanted to get in line early. So I brought my regular clothes to work; planned on just changing and then running over to the venue.

5 rolls around and I change clothes in the bathroom... that day i had the obligatory 501's with the 4 inch cuffs, black garrison belt, Black engineer boots and a black western shirt with a roses on the yoke and on the shoulders,etc. pretty heavy embrodiery. I had to run back into my office to grab my phone or something and happened to run right into one of the partners. He kinda did a double take and had a look on his face like, "have you lost your effin' mind." I just kinda grinned and explained I was going to a show,etc.

Now, if I had a Nudie suit, you betcha i would wear it to the office just as often as I could!

Rex, if fortunate enough to be given a Nudie suit, I would wear it to the courthouse, to the grocery store, hell, i would wear it everywhere.

Clothing source advice. Alright, so where does one get cool vintage or reproduction stuff (such as a swing coat) these days? All of my western shirts I get from a western store (go figure) but what about other more rockabilly type stuff? Vintage is usually out of the question as I am a 44L and I guess folks back in the day were a wee bit smaller than me.

I'd like to comment on the aversion or ignorance of some gentlemen to trim certain hairy exudations of their physicality. Brusquely speaking, I find myself zeroing in on long nasal hair and/or ear hair in conversation with these lack o' grooming folk. For God sakes people get a trimmer of some sort and take care of business. If you need a Dremel, get it! Pardon this rant, dear finely done sirs!

I just turn the gas on one of the stove burners, light it, and inhale quickly.

Stubs 'em right up. Easy and quick, if you can get past the smell (of both the gas AND the burning hair!).
