Rockabillybob

About
February 9, 1964. The Beatles appeared for the first time on the Ed Sullivan Show. I knew from that moment on what I wanted to do in life. And I also knew there was nothing cooler than George Harrison and a Gretsch guitar. ( Well, OK, George Harrison and a Rickenbacker 12 string. It's a tie!) I spent 35 years in radio. I left that to pursue an interest in the Civil War. I developed a program of music, history & storytelling called "Songs of the Civil War." www.bobwelch1863.com No, I don't use a Gretsch for the Civil War music performances. I occasionally play in a duo called "Blue Willow". A combination of acoustic folk, classic rock, blues and Gretsch fueled rockabilly.
