Fretboard is near perfect.
Time to pop the neck off.
Get the GLUE!
Chunky...
Serial number.
Sides fell off so it was time to make a jig.

Ed say's, 13th week of 1947.
Single ply binding attached.
Back too.
Neck binding wasn't rotting but it was soft and cracked easily
So it was replaced.
Replaced I said...
Hot hide glue mixed, heated and neck stuck.
All back together!
Back
I'll attach the floating pickup tomorrow.
Pickup installed.

This is a very cool old guitar and other than the neck issue and de lamination it’s in great shape!

  1. So it’s not pre war, I was confused by the serial number information on this site.

  2. It’s looking more and more like these Synchro 100s were made during the war years, and in the couple of years following. It’s my opinion that they were discontinued by the 50s.
