The binding size and thickness that was used in the factory can’t be bought today so you have to be creative with the layup. Gretsch was inconsistent on how they shaped the binding edge so it’s imperative to match what’s there and once that’s done you need to add some color. Sometimes you need to walk away for a day or two because you really need to be in the right place to find the answers.
